Care New England is seeking an early-stage physician-investigator (Instructor or Assistant Professor) to join our neonatology team at Women & Infants Hospital, one of the nation’s premier academic women and infants’ hospitals in the country. This BE/BC neonatologist either has or will pursue NIH funding or equivalent (e.g. K, R, PCORI awards), and conduct research aligned within the breadth of ongoing clinical, translational and basic research conducted at our institute. Major areas of research focus include: maternal and child nutrition, lactation and milk composition, neonatal neurobehavior, follow-up and development of neonates, global health, health equity, biomarker discovery and assay development and maternal mental health. The selected faculty member will be provided protected research time of =10 weeks service/year with pay equity based on academic rank.

This opportunity is for a neonatologist or pediatrician who seeks to grow their clinical or translational research skillset and portfolio with protected time commensurate to training stage, funding and experience.
