We are dedicated to achieving excellence in our projects and processes, To continue our trajectory of success, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr. Manager/Director of Project Management to lead our project management team.

Position Overview

The Sr. Manager/Director of Project Management will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our project management processes. This key leadership position will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and growing a team of project managers while driving the successful execution of strategic initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Provide strategic direction, guidance, and mentorship to the project management team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Manages 2+ Project/Business Analysts and provides development and support for their achievement of growth and goals.
• Project Portfolio Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive project portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives, and optimize resource allocation.
• Project Planning: Oversee the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure their alignment with organizational goals and deadlines.
• Supporting Digital Transformation: Leads and embraces projects to drive operational and business efficiencies through digital transformation, including but not limited to AI technologies.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks, proactively taking action to mitigate potential issues and ensure successful project delivery.
• Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, key stakeholders, and executive leadership, ensuring that everyone is informed and engaged.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of project delivery, ensuring that project outcomes meet or exceed quality expectations.
• Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project management team performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations and assessments to gather insights and feedback for process improvement.
• Vendor and Partner Relationships: Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, if applicable, to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a project manager and leader, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects is preferred.
• Understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Technical competency and passion for using advanced technology to support business growth and transformation
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with concurrent timelines and deliverables
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Experience

• Previous leadership experience in a similar role is preferred, other candidates with advanced education and some practical experience will be considered. Strong emphasis on finding a candidate who is highly motivated and driven to achieve results. Previous Hospitality experience is a plus.
