Job Summary

CAMP is seeking an International Tax Manager, to join the Accounting Department. CAMP is a growing global company that offers an intellectually challenging environment, career growth opportunities and strives to provide a positive work-life balance. You will manage specific aspects of the International Accounting and Tax function at CAMP and its subsidiaries, including detailed document review for international income taxes, compliance, reporting, non-U.S. audits, transfer pricing and more.

This position is located in San Diego, CA with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule.



Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive understanding of international tax law and requirements.
  • Strong tax research experience and skills with diverse clientele on an international basis.
  • This position will also help identify U.S. International Tax planning opportunities, process improvements and make recommendations.
  • Monitor transfer pricing for compliance with arm's length standard, work with legal and accounting to properly document and charge out intercompany transactions such as rig leases, loans, administrative services charges and secondment fees.
  • Assist in coordination efforts with external service providers for international accounting.
  • Compute digital income from international markets, accounting for tax inclusive amounts and multiple currencies.
  • Review VAT/GST computations and ensure compliance for various countries. Guarantee the accurate application, recording, and timely payment of VAT/GST and other indirect taxes in line with local regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or other related business disciplines required.
  • CPA and/or master’s degree in tax or accounting a plus
  • Corporate Tax experience (5-7 years)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational/analytical skills required.
  • Proven leadership track record strongly desired
  • Solid PC skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP Income Tax Accounting (ASC740)
  • Understanding of international tax concepts
  • Strong work ethic and able to partner in a team-oriented environment.
  • Organized and flexible - ability to manage multiple projects/assignments, while meeting deadlines

Compensation: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD yearly (dependent on experience)
