ABOUT THE ROLE 

This Project Manager is responsible for leading successful projects relating to our global Performance Gear, Apparel, Footwear, and Golf Ball/Club businesses across our portfolio of brands. This role will collaborate with global Product, Marketing, Sales, IT, and Operations functions, as well as external suppliers and vendors, to ensure timely completion of all tasks. This individual will help establish and monitor achievement of critical milestones, and take corrective actions when necessary, to meet key dates. RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develops project plans, business process flows, and trackers in collaboration with all stakeholders involved and following guidance from the Program Manager.
• Creates open and clear communication channels between internal and external cross-functional teams and facilitates collaborative interaction with all stakeholders.
• Monitors status of key deliverables and involves appropriate management when required to ensure necessary resources are available to achieve target dates.
• Maintains and communicates concise, organized notes so all stakeholders are aligned on status of open items, timeline, etc.
• Works with stakeholders to resolve unexpected events as necessary, while ensuring successful deliverable dates occur as planned.
• Acts as liaison between all internal departments to resolve issues relating to assigned projects.
• Additional project tasks as assigned.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Highly organized, and able to work under time pressure across global time zones.
• Able to think and act independently and use creative problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and break down larger objectives into a work plan.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership, excellent attention to detail, and good record keeping are critical.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to interface with all levels of the organization to achieve assigned objectives in a cross-functional team-based environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office software applications is required and experience with PLM is a nice-to-have.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

• BA/BS strongly preferred, but equivalent relevant experience may substitute.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant project team-based work experience.
• Project management experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in or knowledge of Performance Gear/Apparel/Footwear/Sporting Goods or consumer products industries preferred.
