Job Functions
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
- Executes campus mailings to students Organizes and maintains student files
- Assist with maintaining student records
- Completes education verifications
- Assist with the student registration process
- Attend meetings as scheduled
- Ability to work well and collaborate with other departments as needed to achieve assigned tasks
- Enter and maintain 7/14 day letters
- Process transcripts and all employment and enrollment verifications
Resource Management
- Complete all reports by established deadlines.
- Assist graduation coordinator with the annual student graduation ceremony.
- Assist and coordinate awards assembly, student activities, and other special events and promotional activities.
- Create and sustain historical records of all academic and administrative activities for the year.
- Assist with grade processing and keeping records.
- Utilize all resources to assist the Academic Management Team in daily operations.
- Provide back-up assistance to the Reception Desk as needed *Assist with file audits when needed *Assist with transcript requests
Interpersonal Communication
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with students, faculty, other employees, and the visitors to the Academic Department • Encourage and motivate students
Skills
- Proficient in the use of office and computer technology - especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Banner System experience is a plus
SALARY:
$40,000 - $42,000 ($19.23 - $20,19 per hour)
This position is eligible for overtime.
