Business Office Manager – Rochester Campuses

Job Description:

Bryant & Stratton College’s Business Office Manager is responsible for the Business Office functions at a campus level.

Responsibilities:

Experience:

  • Perform Human Resource Coordinator duties, including posting of positions, assist in recruiting, delivering offers and onboarding new associates. Onboarding also includes benefit administration to employees. Other HRC duties as assigned.
  • Payroll processing duties including timesheet verification, assisting associates with UltiPro inquires and password resets, reconciliation, and disbursement of paychecks.
  • Review all purchase requests, ensuring they meet projected budget outcomes and process PO’s /approve/deny/forward as needed.
  • Work with Department Managers to secure purchases and keep expenses within budget.
  • Maintain accurate Athletic documents to support all regulatory reports.
  • Process employee expense reports
  • Monitor and analyze operating expenses to budget and provide monthly updates to manager.
  • Ensuring Federal, State and outside funds are appropriately and promptly reflected on student’s accounts in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Servicing students by taking and processing payments, assisting students in understanding their accounts, and working with students on outstanding balances.
  • Manage prom note collections and ensure funds are properly recorded and deposited. Ensure student refunds are properly processed.
  • Review associate and family scholarships for grades and pay accordingly.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of various general ledger accounts.
  • Manage the Federal Work Study program to ensure funds are properly used.
  • Co-Manage off – site housing, including room assignments, inspections, billing, and student issues.
  • Review monthly conference call reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Aid the team structure and assist the campus in meeting retention and operating goals.
  • Assist in the influencer activities at the campus.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in accounting, business, finance, or related field.
  • Supervisory and/or leadership experience required.
  • Experience and proficiency with incorporating the use of technology.
  • Experience and proficiency with basic accounting principles required.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse student and staff population.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: 

$59,000-$61,000 per year.

The selected candidate’s actual base pay for this role will take into account a wide range of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. At Bryant & Stratton College, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Information about the total compensation package for this position will be provided during the interview process.
