Work Hours:  Mon–Fri, 8am-5pm. Hours may vary for project needs. Saturdays and secondary holidays may be a scheduled workday. Limited travel may be required.

Position Description

Summary:

Bryant & Stratton College is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Marketing Communications Manager to shape and maintain the college's public image, effectively communicate its value proposition, and embody the role of a brand ambassador.

This hands-on role requires an individual ready to dive into projects and drive the college’s marketing communications efforts to new heights. The MarCom Manager will be responsible for developing, executing, and evaluating marketing strategies that enhance the college’s visibility and brand reputation. The successful candidate will embody a "roll-up-the-sleeves" work ethic, willing to engage in both high-level strategic planning and the day-to-day tasks necessary to achieve goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Brand Management: Safeguard the integrity of the college's brand by ensuring consistent messaging across all channels and departments. Facilitate brand training and support to uphold brand standards college-wide. Lead public relations efforts, including reputation management and media relations. Actively engage with the press to highlight the college’s achievements and manage PR activities.  Provide crucial support to the Crisis Communication team during emergencies to ensure the timely and accurate dissemination of information to all stakeholders.  Act as the point of contact for systems compliance, ensuring all marketing materials meet legal and regulatory standards.

Content Strategy: Develop and execute a content strategy that spans digital and print platforms. Generate and oversee the production of informative content for various channels, including drafting press releases, curating blog articles, enhancing website content, creating marketing collateral, and managing both internal and external communications. Manage, write, and curate content for the college's blog and newsroom, ensuring a relevant and timely communications.  

Internal Communications: Oversee internal communication channels to ensure staff and faculty are informed about college developments and news. Manage communications in the associate portal and Modo student portal, and support communications from the Office of the President.

Social Media Management: Develop and execute a social media strategy that promotes the B&SC brand, fosters an engaged online community, and supports the college's goals in recruitment, reputation, and alumni connection. Collabroate with the marketing coordinator to effectively execute the social media strategy for B&SC.

Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks including invoice processing, Digital Asset Management (DAM), Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) reaffirmation activities, and support for on-site systems events and Diversity, Sensitivity, Inclusion Committee activities. Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies. Utilize data to make informed decisions and pivot strategies as needed.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Regional Marketing to customize marketing materials for campus-specific needs and provide ongoing support for campus marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of producing content for a variety of channels, specifically press releases, blogs, websites, marketing collateral, and internal/external communications.
  • Familiarity with leveraging generative AI technologies to streamline content creation and personalize messaging at scale.
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with digital content creation, social media management, and brand stewardship.
  • Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently on complex projects with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations relevant to marketing in the education sector.

SALARY:

$75,000 to $90,000 per year.
