Job Description
As the Regional Operations Director leading the Americas factories and production lines, they will be accountable for setting and achieving production targets across multiple factories (including union sites), while effectively and efficiently leading cross-site operations that include: production scheduling and material management; supply chain and purchasing; Quality, HSE and production (assembly and test).
Reporting to the Managing Director, Oil & Gas, this person will be responsible for leading all manufacturing-related functions across their portfolio, driving the highest levels of quality and customer service in a safe, efficient and timely manner utilizing the proven lean and continuous improvement techniques to ensure the achievement of Rotork’s business goals.
This opportunity is held on the Americas Regional Leadership team and contributes to setting common strategy across all factories, building executive relationships with other functions in Rotork. Other executive leadership responsibilities include multi-site yearly and quarterly budget planning, capital budgeting, salary planning, payment approvals and other ad-hoc activities.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Engineering, or the equivalent preferred
- 15 years’ manufacturing-related supervisory and managerial experience with exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or other formal productivity improvement programs and ISO9001
- Ability to travel routinely, with minimum support, to drive process improvements/business transformations
- International travel, as required (valid passport)
- Strong systems background in MRP/ERP, project management, scheduling, inventory management and general accounting
- Experience and competency using all Microsoft Office applications
