What You'll Do 

  • Research and design statistical models to answer target questions, optimize processes and outcomes, and inform decision-making while leveraging industry best practices 
  • Build and deploy models and applications across a variety of industries 
  • Develop custom solutions to unique business problems using modern toolsets and platforms such as Python, SQL, AWS, and Azure 
  • Grasp opportunities to broaden your scope into the realms of data engineering, data visualization, and cloud engineering 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to clients by taking a hands-on approach in maturing the client's data science capabilities to create value within their business 
  • Participate in internal initiatives, such as interview support, client brainstorming, and POC development, to foster a culture of growth and collaboration 

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Knowledge of statistics and machine learning fundamentals, techniques, and best practices  
  • 5+ years of experience building statistical and machine learning models 
  • Extensive experience creating modular and extensible code and building applications in Python (3+ years) 
  • Strong experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Strong experience with LLMs
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SQL (3+ years) and experience creating advanced queries in a high-impact role
  • Experience building data pipelines 
  • Degree in any discipline and either a degree or certification program specifically in machine learning, statistics, computer science, data mining, math, or any quantitative discipline 
  • Experience presenting and communicating results to stakeholders 
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, gather requirements, and manage your own workstream 
  • Ability to own end-to-end data science products and experience with the complete machine learning product lifecycle 

Ideal, But Not Required 

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies
  • AzureML (highly preferred)
  • AWS SageMaker
  • Databricks Notebook
  • Power BI
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Knowledge of R 
  • CI/CD, IAC, and production experience 
  • Experience in utilities industry, telecom, high tech, financial services, or healthcare 
  • Experience in GIS analysis 
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment 

Additional Information

All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. 

Compensation range: $110,000 - $148,000 annually, flexible depending on experience
