Job Description

We're on the lookout for vibrant individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Counselor Team. If you're passionate about turning ordinary days into extraordinary adventures, love working with children, and thrive on creating an atmosphere where laughter and joy are the stars of the show, then this role is for you! Get ready to be the one who makes this summer the most memorable one yet, while creating lasting bonds with our amazing campers!

  • Support a welcoming atmosphere for all campers ages 7-12.
  • Build positive relationships through effective communication and active participation in camp activities.
  • Plan, organize, and lead a variety of age-appropriate activities, including games, arts and crafts, sports, and team-building exercises.
  • Ensure the safety and enjoyment of campers during all activities.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow counselors and camp leadership to coordinate and execute daily activities.
  • Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and share insights.
  • Implement and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure camp environment.
  • Monitor campers for signs of discomfort, illness, or emotional distress, and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Pro-active communication with Resort Experience Leaders

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a lead role
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and Holidays
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Comfortable working in fast paced, high volume environments
  • Ability to follow direction, adjust due to volume, and enforce guidelines

Requirements -

  • Food Handlers Card 
  • Fingerprint clearance card- classes will be offered
  • CPR certified - classes will be offered
  • Lifeguard Certification - classes will be offered
