Job Description

- Plans, directs, and supervises the activities of the OA Program, including ensuring proper planning, scheduling, and effective implementation of all activities in program areas. Supervises procurement and use of supplemental materials, including multimedia equipment.
- Plans, directs, and supervises the activities of the Career Transition Services Programs, including ensuring proper planning, scheduling, and effective implementation of all activities in program areas. Supervises procurement and use of supplemental materials, including multimedia equipment.
- Adheres to cohort enrollment, case management efforts and career transition services of all industry clusters.
- Sets monthly goals for admissions and placement and monitors goals. Enacts corrective action as needed to correct deficiencies.
- Prepares and reviews reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished and objectives attained.
- Ensures proper records on student progress are maintained by the Admissions Department.
- Ensures proper records on student progress are maintained by the Career Transition Department.
- Promotes CEP/ACT/OTP programs.
- Monitor routine expenditures to ensure the Admissions and Career Transition Services Departments do not exceed the monthly budgeted amount.
- Assesses personnel needs and works with the Human Resources department to screen and interview potential staff. Recommends promotions, transfers, and merit evaluations within the department. Conducts and prepares performance appraisals.
- Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills.
- Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property.
- Adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.
- Fosters and sustains a conducive environment at the center, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engage in work and learning.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field, and two years related supervisory experience.
- Associate’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field, and four years related supervisory experience.
- Experience working with diverse youth.
- A valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.
