The Corporate Director of Career Services over Career Services HUB operations plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful career outcomes for graduates from Unitek Learning’s group of colleges; Brookline College, Eagle Gate College, Provo College and Unitek College. This position is responsible for overseeing a remote team of Regional Directors of Career Services and Graduate Employment Specialists who focus on achieving placement rates for graduates that meet accreditation and regulatory benchmarks driving towards company Value Creation Plan (VCP) goals, fostering employer relationships, and ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory body standards. The Corporate Director of Career Services HUB operations provides strategic leadership, guidance, and support to the team to drive employment outcomes and maintain regulatory compliance.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance graduate employment outcomes, placement rates and partnerships in support of the Regional Directors of Career Services that oversee each programmatic division within the Career Services HUB.
  • Provide leadership and direction to remote team of Regional Directors of Career Services and Graduate Employment Specialists, ensuring alignment with accreditation and regulatory requirements alongside organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Career Services and the Corporate Director of Career Services-Campus Based Career Services Operations to ensure standardization, consistency and continuity of student and graduate support for persistence to in-field employment.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Career Services Team.
  • Oversee the tracking metrics and reporting of graduate employment outcomes and placement rates ensuring compliance with ABHES, ACCSC and other regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve graduate employment outcomes, including job placement assistance, career counseling and employer networking opportunities.
  • In partnership with the Corporate Director of Career Services-Campus Based Career Services Operations, collaborate with academic departments to integrate career readiness and job placement initiatives in the classroom.
  • Lead efforts to establish and maintain relationships with employers, industry associations and workforce development agencies to facilitate graduate job placement.
  • Identify industry trends, employer needs and job market demand to tailor career services offerings and enhance employer engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards as set by ABHES, ACCSC and other regulatory bodies related to graduate placement rates and employment outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain process and documentation to demonstrate compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, accreditation, and compliance teams to address compliance issues and implement correction actions as needed.
  • Recruit, hire, train and evaluate the performance for Regional Directors of Career Services and Graduate Employment Specialists, providing coaching, feedback and professional development opportunities as needed.
  • Establish performance metrics, goals and objectives for the team monitoring progress and implementing strategies to achieve targets.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates with equivalent education and combined experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a career services role with at least three years in a leadership or supervisory role within career services.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and regulations governing vocational education, particularly ABHES and ACCSC requirements related to graduate placement rates and employment outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of employer engagement strategies, job placement best practices, and industry trends in vocational education and the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders from the campus level to corporate leadership.
  • Experience managing remote teams and utilizing technology platforms for collaboration, communication, data management and team metrics.
  • Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and use metrics to drive decision-making and program improvements.
  • Experience with CampusVue-Campus Nexus and PowerBI a plus.
