Job Description

Take ownership of account and project management day-to-day activities including:

  • Weekly project status reporting
  • Weekly project tracking
  • With assistance from senior team members, generate project proposals and coordinate kick off meetings
  • Manage projects and coordinate submissions for review
  • Coordinate project activities and delegate tasks

Establish and administer project management processes in order to stay on top of all project-related details including timelines and budgets

Oversee and provide guidance to the broader agency team to ensure successful effective project execution

Liaise effectively with third party suppliers

Develop strong working relationships with the client and assume day-to-day contact

Lead internal and external meetings where appropriate

Demonstrate a solid understanding of the environmental factors and scientific/medical information that influence the client’s therapeutic area(s)

Ensure quality control standards and compliance guidelines are met

Mentor junior level team members and adopt a coaching approach to ensure that they feel supported

Keep senior staff apprised of key client information

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience within Medical Communications as an Account Director or Senior account manager
  • Solid understanding and experience working within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree preferred in science, pharmacology or medicine
  • Effective project manager with experience developing and managing project timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Good financial acumen with experience creating budgets
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally

Compensation Range: $58,500- $92,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
