Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking an Inspector with Water/Wastewater experience to be located in the Baltimore, MD Metropolitan area. The inspector will be responsible for establishing quality inspection programs and processes that ensure company and customer requirements are met. Ensures all contract documents represented by working drawings and specifications are properly executed.
Projects may include water system master plans, hydraulic distribution system modeling, water audits, water quality studies, disinfection, water systems design (water treatment plants, pump stations, etc.), water main replacement analysis, water vulnerability and emergency response, and Safe Drinking Water Program audits. Projects may also include water and/or wastewater treatment facilities, sewer overflow facilities, sanitary sewer pipelines and manholes, booster pump stations, transmission and/or distribution mains.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Working under general supervision
- May provide on the job training to new employees
- Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties
- Performing daily field inspections and maintains inspection records
- Participating in punch lists, testing, and commissioning
- Track quality assurance progress
- Provide input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School plus 2 years of relevant experience OR demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Valid Driver’s License required to regularly drive AECOM vehicles to project sites. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
Preferred Requirements:
- Past experience with water and sewer conveyance and treatment projects preferred
- Familiarity with CM14 or other document management systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $43,480.10-$76,090.18
