Overview
Pate Rehabilitation has an immediate opening for a PART TIME dual role position involving psychometrician and research coordinator duties to join our team!
This is a part time position with potential to move to a Full-Time position. The primary location is the Las Colinas office, but travel is required to all of our locations (Las Colinas, Fort Worth & Anna)
when needed.
Pate’s hours of operation: Monday - Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
Pate is a premiere post-acute neuro-rehabilitation facility with three sites throughout the Dallas/Fort-Worth Metroplex, offering both inpatient and outpatient neuro-rehabilitative care. It was co-founded by a neuropsychologist, and the treatment model continues to be based on neuropsychological principles.
Responsibilities
- Administers objective tests to individuals with neurological injuries including but not limited to stroke, TBI, encephalopathy, anoxia/hypoxia, and brain tumor
- Results of testing are utilized by staff psychologists for making diagnoses and/or quantifying the client’s strengths and weaknesses to inform rehabilitation treatment plans
- Administers routine standardized and objective neurocognitive tests in accordance with specific guidelines defined by licensed psychologists
- Scores quantitative portions of testing which have clearly defined, objective scoring criteria
- Conducts phone interviews using semi-structured questionnaire
- Retrieves and records data from medical records and records data from interviews
- Assists in development of data tables, graphs and charts and preparation of material for presentation
- Assists in the collection of new data; codes, cleans, transcribes, records, enters and stores all data collected; coordinates data collection with other research staff as appropriate
- Maintains an inventory of neuropsychological assessments and protocols
- Acts in compliance with Pate regulatory and professional standards and guidelines
- Additional responsibilities include collecting and maintaining programmatic and neuropsychological outcome data
Qualifications
- A. or B.S. degree from an accredited or approved program
- Pass all pre-employment and employment verifications
- Criminal History Check
- Maintain current CPR and First Aid Training Certifications
- Negative Drug Screen
- Previous experience administering and scoring standardized psychological tests is preferred
