Description
Brightpoint (formerly known as Children’s Home & Aid) invites you to join our team of mission-driven staff who share a common vision: an equitable world where all children and families thrive in strong communities. As a leader in the human services sector for 140 years, we aim to advance the well-being of children by investing in families and strengthening communities through data-informed, collaborative, and preventative solutions.

The Group Facilitator also develops safe and trusting relationships with fathers so that services build on family strengths and referrals can be provided for additional supportive services as needed. If you are knowledgeable about the joys and challenges of parenting, have experience in engaging clients and facilitating groups, and are passionate about helping fathers and families thrive and flourish, this may be the perfect opportunity for you to join the Brightpoint team.
Candidate qualifications:

- Familiarity with local community resources preferred.
Job details:
- Compensation: Starts at $17/hr; offers are commensurate with experience.
- Location: Groups occur in community-based locations in Northern Illinois, near Rockford.
- Schedule: Support groups are held weekly and scheduled with both community need and the facilitator's availability in mind; position requires approximately 5 hours/week.
