The IYIP Family Support Coach works with clients ranging from 16-24 years of age in the Englewood/West Englewood communities who may be exposed to community violence, helping support them in achieving their social, emotional, educational, and employment goals. This position includes connecting participants with goal planning, resources, assistance with overcoming obstacles, mentorship/role modeling for youth, and providing support to assist participants in reaching their goals. The Coach will champion all Brightpoint values including our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, in both strategic planning and performance.

Candidate qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in social work or a related field OR high school diploma/equivalent plus three years’ relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of various social service, educational and community resources. 
  • Familiarity and experience working with youth, adults or families strongly preferred
  • A valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.

Job details:

  • Compensation: Range starts at $20; offers are commensurate with experience.
  • Benefits: Medical/dental/vision insurance, 3+ weeks paid time off in the first year including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day (PTO increases with tenure); 11 paid holidays, supplemental insurance options, 401(k) with match (more benefits details here).
  • Location: Hybrid (remote/community-based) Home office will be at our Marshfield site.
  • Schedule: Full-time, hourly; general business hours with some flexibility for community events occasionally.
  • Student Loan Forgiveness: Brightpoint is an approved agency for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
