Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Technician (2nd shift) to perform a wide variety of general building and equipment maintenance, repairs, and services.
Wage: $18-$25/hr (2nd shift has $3.00/hr shift differential)
Responsibilities
- Completes maintenance projects during off shifts or shutdown periods when needed
- Responsible for supporting facility status/inspections and alerting Leadership of unusual occurrences
- Troubleshooting to include electrical, structural, plumbing and HVAC issues
- Performs weekly facility maintenance and assist in monthly safety inspection
Skills / Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years experience with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical maintenance experience
- Ability to maintain professional candor at all times and remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities
- Ambition to be productive individually and as part of a team
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs
