Job Overview
The Lube Technician will be responsible for maintaining rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment, as well as various types of forklifts, with a primary focus on preventative maintenance on said equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Preventive maintenance on rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment, as well as forklifts.
- Assist field mechanics in various repairs on an as-needed basis.
- Maintain appearance and professionalism.
- Travel on short notice and be gone overnight, sometimes for several days.
- Always uphold and cultivate safe working behavior.
- Communicate effectively with management and personnel.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years (s) of experience maintaining rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane construction equipment; vocational training may be considered in lieu of experience.
- Ability to perform tasks independently without direct supervision.
- Computer literate with the ability to process information, email, various programs, etc.
- Must be proficient with an iPhone with the ability to use various applications.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality.
- Knowledgeable in the preventative maintenance of various equipment makes, including Manitowoc, Grove, Terex, Tadano, Broderson, Kobelco, and Liebherr cranes.
- A history of safe work habits
- Hard worker with a great attitude
- Must supply own hand tools and keep up-to-date tool inventory of service truck.
- Have a clean driving record and can drive a company service truck. Must keep truck clean and maintained.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and higher education, including vocational training, is beneficial.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends (Overtime).
- Must be able to travel and stay remote for several days at a time.
- Must be capable of communicating effectively and professionally with supervisors and other personnel.
- Must be able to perform competent multipoint inspections of all equipment.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- CDL not required but is an advantage.
