Job Overview
The Lube Technician will be responsible for maintaining rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment, as well as various types of forklifts, with a primary focus on preventative maintenance on said equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming service requests related to jobsite equipment.
- Assign all incoming service calls to the proper service manager based on the region of required repair.
- Inputall service requests into the service log and maintain all updates to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Will maintain a centralized log of all service requests handed off to service managers, ensuring visibility into each request’s status and progression.
- Schedule and dispatch lube technicians for preventative maintenance tasks.
- Identify, source, and order necessary parts for equipment maintenance activities.
- Review and approve technician timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate and schedule all planned maintenance activities.
- Ensure all service documentation (Service Reports, Parts Requisitions, etc.) is complete, accurate, and properly filed.
- Provide the Service Billing team with all required documentation and cost details for customer billing.
- Ensure timely submission of service documents to the Service Administration team for digital archiving.
- Deliver inspection and service documentation to customers as requested.
- Create and manage service jobs for all field service repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of supervisory or coordination experience required.
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using smartphones and tablets.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with scheduling and workforce management.
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in using Smartsheet and D365.
