Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting plans and schematics
• Performing calculations using algebra and geometry for completed work. 
• Consult with Engineers and Superintendents on work progress and construction problems.
• Direct and frequent communication with client representatives
• Using computer and applicable software for Daily work reports
• Maintaining a safe working environment
• Performs other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years of experience in roadway/civil construction (TxDOT experience preferred)
• Successful completion of DOT testing and/or accreditation type classes may be applied towards experience requirements.  
• Subject to outside environmental conditions and lift or carry objects up to 25lbs. 
• Site Manager experience preferred.
