Job Description

The Health and Safety Trainer is responsible for the design, the delivery and the continuous improvement of training programs. This position needs to assess, execute, and develop all training programs. The Health and Safety Trainer has excellent communication skills and strives to enhance The Company Culture.

Responsibilities

  • Will provide leadership through The Company's culture and values.
  • Develop curriculum and design training for all courses.
  • Administer training for designated groups, equipment, and positions.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement training best practices to ensure alignment with company needs.
  • Work in partnership with management to create company-specific course content.
  • Evaluate success of the training implementation.
  • Create techniques, concepts and develop training programs and strategies.
  • Promotes a safety culture through open communications with all employees.
  • Identify and implement changes to reduce hazards and risks through training courses.
  • Performs other duties as needed and as observed by Company’s policies and manager’s request.

Job Requirements

  • 4 plus years of experience. Industry relevant knowledge of standards and compliance safety rules and regulations.
  • Training & Development certification preferred.
  • University degree or equivalent is required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Able to effectively deliver empowering public presentations to all levels in the organization.
  • Exceptional communication both verbally and written.
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of Safety-related equipment.
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
