Under the direction of the Pharmacist-in-Charge, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting in the preparation and distribution of medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient and pharmacy records in a manner consistent with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as pharmacy policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, preferred
- Register with the Montana State Board of Pharmacy as a Technician-In-Training. The permit to practice as a Technician-In-Training shall be good for a period not to exceed the expiration date on the Board of Pharmacy issued license.
- Pharmacy Technician-In-Training must pass a national certification exam that is accepted by the Montana State Board of Pharmacy within the individual license expiration date of the original registration.
- Must successfully complete the Pharmacy training competency within the first 6 months of employment in the Pharmacy.
- Expectation that Certified Pharmacy Technician will be responsible to maintain such certification which requires 20 hours of continuing education every two years.

Schedule:
- Full-time, >30 hours/week
- Monday - Friday
Compensation:
- $20.31 - $23.86 per hour DOE
