Job Summary
Located at our Memphis, TN location this role will supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the company, manage the production process, ensure product quality and worker safety. Adhering to authorized budgets and company goals
Position Overview
- Develop and execute strategic plans that integrate plant operations with overall company objectives.
- Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability in the short and long term.
- Coordinate and efficiently manage available resources, including personnel, equipment, materials, and technology for the fulfillment of operations in the company.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
- Ensure optimum compliance with product quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate manufacturing operations to meet established production schedules.
- Ensure the timely assortment of production orders, effectively managing raw material and production warehouses.
- Implement practices and technologies that improve efficiency and reduce production times.
- Develop and manage the plant budget, ensuring efficient use of financial resources.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or efficiency.
- Effectively manage the area's budget, ensuring cash flow to support plant operations.
- Lead in fostering a culture of positive and collaborative work environment to increase staff morale and retention.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational performance.
- Ensure that all plant operations comply with local and international regulations and standards.
- Drive continuous improvement through trending of reported analysis and metrics management.
- Participate in Corporate and local meetings.
- Provide new ideas and suggestions for improvements. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are best in the field.
- Ensure that your staff is aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the achievement of quality objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- University Degree in applicable field
- Management experience in an automotive or re-manufacturing setting 5+ years.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Process, Quality Systems.
- Strong decision making and people management skills.
- Experience in union negotiations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Problem identification and problem solving
- High sense of responsibility and urgency Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
PPE Required
- Safety Glasses and Safety Shoes in designated areas.
Work Environment
- Full-time role requiring off-hour support as needed.
- Travel limited to no more than 10% for training and occasional business meetings.
- Day-to-day support on manufacturing floor with some level of noise. Must be able to stand – on plant floor /sit – on computer or in meetings, as required often at lengths.
