POSITION: Water Resources Senior Project Manager

POSITION LOCATION: Orlando, FL

SALARY RANGE: $115,000 - $140,000

Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a Water Resources Senior Project Manager in our Orlando, Florida office.

POSITION DUTIES:

  • Design of municipal drainage systems, hydraulic studies, and pumping stations.
  • Hydraulic and hydrologic modeling designs for drainage basins, water quality improvements and stormwater collection systems.
  • Performing analyses using Geographic Information System (GIS) tools.
  • Preparing stormwater master plan reports and preliminary engineering reports.
  • Supervises, coordinates, and/or reviews the work of other professionals.
  • Meetings and coordination with municipal, county and state clients.
  • Obtaining permits related to stormwater management.
  • Assist with construction engineering services for municipal, county and state clients.
  • Assist project engineers as needed during project delivery.
  • Hold additional roles within the company and serve on committees and special project teams.
  • Manage larger and/or multidiscipline projects.
  • Lead project design teams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.S. degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Transportation Engineering.
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Professional Engineer license in the State of Florida (or transfer from another state) is required.
  • ICPR3 or ICPR4 Modeling Experience Required
  • Experience and knowledge of regulatory agency requirements pertaining to stormwater design.
  • Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman service area (own transportation).
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills.
