Description
- Entering application data and underwriting new accounts.
- Providing Level II customer support for cardholders and Bank of Hope employees. Responding to phone call/email inquiries and conducting account-level changes.
- Performing collection efforts on delinquent/past-due accounts, by conducting outbound calls and partnering with customer Relationship Managers.
- Reviewing documentation and entering data in corresponding programs/logs.
- Performing basic bookkeeping functions including payment processing, transaction research, transferring funds to the appropriate GL, and performing reconciliations.
- Ensuring BSA/AML requirements are adhered to, including KYC/CIP as needed.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum Education Level:
- Required: High School Diploma
- Preferred: College Degree
- Minimum Job Experience:
- Required: 0-5 years
- Preferred: 1+ years of financial institution experience
- Language Skills:
- Required: Fluent English (or fluent Korean, with basic English writing skills).
- Preferred: Fluent in both English & Korean.
- Knowledge/Software Skills:
- Required: Intermediate Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint skills.
- Preferred: Familiarity with payment card account servicing and underwriting platforms.
The salary range for this full-time position is $20.20 Hourly - $23.08 Hourly + bonus + benefits
