JOB SUMMARY

As an integral member of the Treasury Operations team, the Treasury Analyst 2 supports all of IQVIA’s business units in North America and Latin America and is the go-to person to resolve banking issues.  The role includes handling the operation of the Americas treasury system including cash receipts, outgoing wires, stop payments and ACH reversals. Tracks North American cash transactions and performs banking research as needed.  Coordinates the opening of bank accounts, manages the associated KYC process and services as needed. Prepares interest income/expense schedules to assist accounting with month end close. Works with both internal and external auditors to maintain SOX compliance and assist with annual audit.  *This person will work in a hybrid model going into the Durham, NC office at least 1x per week* 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages the operation of the domestic lockbox process, including setting daily cash/investment position, initiating wire transfers and assisting business units with cash management issues.
  • Administers banking systems including Wells Fargo CEO, BNPP Connexis, BAML CashPro, RBC Express, CitiDirect, HSBC, BB&T Cash Manager Online, Symcor (RBC ACH application) and JPMorgan Chase.
  • Tracks cash activity and maintains Wells Fargo rollforward to assist with the month end closing process.
  • Prepares monthly cash, debt, interest income and expense schedules.
  • Places stop payments and ACH reversals as necessary.
  • Coordinates the opening of domestic bank accounts and associated banking services.
  • Manages the shared mailbox for the Treasury Operations team
  • Prepares deposits for Desktop Deposit.
  • Receives and disburses monthly bank statements.
  • Assists with special projects as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
  • Create and update standardized monthly and quarterly reports and perform analyses.
  • Manage master bank account file.
  • Assist with foreign exchange transaction management.
  • Security administrator for Treasury workstation and various bank portals.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management.
  • Assist in the development of reports and analyses to support department needs.
  • Collaborate with various functional and technical teams to drive efficiencies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Requires intermediate level knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts of a job area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • Possess a working knowledge of accounting/finance policies and procedures.
  • Possess a general working knowledge of accounting rules, concepts, and regulations.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Possess the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
  • Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet applications in a Windows environment.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field preferred.
  • Associate’s degree or higher required.
  • 2+ years of accounting/finance experience in key functional area (e.g. treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, payroll, tax, etc.) required.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in financial and/or treasury environment preferred.
