Functional Areas of Responsibility
- Accurate quantity take-off
- Cost estimating
- Productivity analysis
- Business partner solicitation
- Development of vendor bid tabs and selection
- Scheduling
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications
- Perform quantity take-off as directed
- Preparation of discipline cost estimates
- Assist in solicitation of subcontractor and supplier quotes to assure sufficient coverage of all scopes of work
- Assist in schedule preparation and analysis
Qualifications Required for this Position
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (engineering or construction management degree preferred), or equivalent experience
Experience
- Basic knowledge of construction documents, construction techniques, and equipment capabilities
- High degree of accuracy with work product and calculations
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Oral and written communication skills
