Title: Mainframe Developer
Location: Wilmington, Delaware
Duration: Long Term
Position #: 20

Key responsibilities:
-- Developing and maintaining applications for mainframe systems. 
-- Writing code, testing it, and working with other developers to ensure proper functioning. 
-- Utilizing technologies like COBOL, IMS, and DB2. 
-- Design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system. 
-- Possible work with CICS web services and Rest API. 
-- Knowledge in Mainframe utilities such as File-Aid, Expeditor, SORT, REXX, and SAS. 
-- Exposure to cloud technologies is a plus. 

To be successful in these roles, candidates may need:
-- Experience with mainframe systems and related technologies.
-- Skills in programming languages like COBOL, and potentially other languages like Python, Java, or Unix Shell Scripting.
-- Knowledge of mainframe utilities and systems.
-- Experience with databases like DB2 and IMS.
-- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
