  • Full-time Monday-Friday
  • Pay Range: $ 24.50 - $31.30

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and ensure the confidentiality of all resident health records.

  • Ensure compliance with State, Federal, and facility policies when preparing medical forms.

  • Manage and improve the medical records system, identifying inefficiencies and seeking solutions.

  • Collect, audit, and process resident records for accuracy, quality assurance, and risk management.

  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation and signatures.

  • Participate in training, uphold safety regulations, and respect resident rights.

Qualifications

Experience: ·

  • Minimum two (2) years experience managing medical records in a long term care facility. ·
  • Minimum two (2) years experience working with Federal and State laws regarding long term care and maintenance of medical records.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. ·
  • Associates Degree and/or specialized medical records training preferred. ·
  • Registration or accreditation by the American Health Information Management Association as ART or RRA preferred.
