JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently hiring on-call or casual Registered Nurses for our Waconia skilled nursing location. These caregivers should have a desire and the heart to empower resident’s lives with purpose and passion. JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Competently perform related functions of a clinically astute licensed nurse  and deliver quality clinical procedures.
  • Administer medications to residents as required by physician orders.
  • Mentor, monitor and direct Nursing Assistants.
  • Contribute to planning, implementing and evaluating nursing policies and   procedures.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing while maintaining open lines of communication with residents, family, nursing staff, other departments and external health professionals and agencies.
  • Respond appropriately in emergencies to assure resident safety and security.
  • Assist residents with all forms of ADL’s.
  • Provide compassionate, respectful and skilled care to our residents.
  • Understands/supports the Resident Bill of Rights.
  • Follows Federal and state of Minnesota rules and regulations governing nursing facilities.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of an approved RN program.
  • Currently Licensed by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
  • CPR Certified
  • Compassionate, Altruistic and Dedicated.
  • Resident-centric.
  • Committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with staff and residents.
  • Ability to work independently with no supervision.
