The Ascend Learning Healthcare Segment leads the way in innovation and solution creation to improve outcomes and deliver results for students, educators, and healthcare workers in the ever-changing field of healthcare. We offer advanced resources that drive nursing success, empower front-line certified allied health workers, help physicians pass boards and stay current, and provide education management tools for medical education programs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and supporting the Directors of Marketing for the Healthcare subsegments, you will be responsible for driving accountability, ownership, and performance results by developing and executing performance marketing strategies that drive demand, customer acquisition, engagement, loyalty, and revenue growth. This role requires an analytical and metrics-driven approach, a deep understanding of digital marketing, data analysis, a competitive spirit, and a passion for and proven success in optimizing marketing campaigns to deliver measurable results.
WHERE YOU’LL WORK
This position can work a hybrid schedule from one of our Ascend Learning office locations: Burlington, MA-Leawood, KS-Minneapolis, MN-Gilbert, AZ. Fully remote will also be considered within the continental United States.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME
- Be accountable for and drive performance marketing results by developing and executing comprehensive performance marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth including leading the planning, implementation, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including but not limited to search engine marketing (SEM), display advertising, social media advertising, email marketing, mobile, influencer marketing and affiliate marketing.
- Develop, track and report out on performance indicators and data-driven insights to measure and optimize marketing performance to drive return on investment, as well as drive alignment and consistent tracking, reporting, and dashboards across brands.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance requirements as well as the latest trends and best practices in performance marketing, digital advertising, and marketing technology to drive compliance, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to maximize campaign effectiveness and efficiency.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience being accountable and owning results for both B2B and B2C performance marketing (experience in healthcare, education technology or higher education industries a plus).
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful performance marketing strategies, cost-effectively driving demand, customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
- Proven results leveraging digital marketing channels, including but not limited to search engine marketing (SEM), display advertising, social media advertising, email marketing, mobile, influencer marketing and affiliate marketing.
- Proficiency in using marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to track, analyze, and report on campaign performance.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data-driven insights to optimize marketing campaigns and improve return on investment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage people and teams, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
