WHAT YOU'LL DO 

We are seeking a data-driven, tech-savvy, and community-oriented Organic Social Media Manager to serve as the brand voice for our managed organic social channels. Responsibilities include managing various social media channels, influencer campaigns and coordination, internal and external partner collaboration, the organic social team, and community contributors. This position employs organizational and collaboration skills, the ability to manage and work with outside agencies (PR, performance, etc.) to drive growth, create social value, establish a coordinated and holistic digital narrative, enhance our brand reputation, improve digital communication with clients, and encourage overall business growth.

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

This position will be work hybrid from our Gilbert, Arizona office.  Remote candidates will be considered.

 HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Create, plan, and schedule monthly social media posts, spanning all managed platforms and brands• Own and manage the social media calendar, working in partnership with the larger marketing content calendar and extended team members• Monitor page and group activity, coordinate with member services team to ensure timely engagement and community management• Manage vendor and partner relationships; ensure adequate support and features are enabled to further the effectiveness of social programs• Collaborate with the paid performance team to boost and create continuity between paid and organic content• Manage social media team and internal community contributors• Ensure community management guidelines are current, relevant, and updated• Train community contributors and internal partners on best practice social engagement• Manage relationships, contribute to contract negotiation, and lead management of collaborative posts with external partners• Oversee and grow our Influencer Marketing program, identifying and building relationships with key industry influencers• Coordinate influencer communications, including initial outreach, contracts, invoicing, promo codes, and approving and monitoring posts• Monitor, track, and report key social media and influencer KPIs• Research and establish a new brand presence on relevant, viable, emerging platforms• Transform key social data into actionable insights• Monitor the impact of organic social on SEO and web traffic metrics• Address crisis and/or viral posts with urgency and thought leadership• Remain current on all emerging trends and technologies related to social media, and serve as a thought leader within the department

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related field• 5 years of organic social media marketing experience• Experience planning and leading community initiatives• Excellent copywriting and editing skills• Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other platform analytic tools• Experience with Sprout Social, Google Analytics, and Wrike preferred• Project management experience• Knowledge of social media marketing best practices• Proven history of growing social audiences• Master’s degree preferred• Prior people management experience preferred
  • Keen sense of urgency; ability to react/engage with community comments and responses• Strong social and digital literacy; passion to keep current on trends and technologies• Initiative-taking ability to stay relevant and abreast of audience platform preferences and engagement• An eye for design and the ability to collaborate with creative teams to execute a vision• Highly organized and strong project management skills• Passion for the fitness and wellness industry• Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Strong content development skills• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills• Critical thinker, thought leader, and problem-solver
