About the Company:
Our client is a private investment firm providing capital for long-term growth and acquisitions for businesses in the healthcare, industrial, and commercial industries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a global tax strategy that aligns with the firm’s expanding business needs
- Identify and manage tax-related risks linked to cross-border transactions and operations and guide the firm on implementing tax-efficient structures and processes
- Advise on tax implications of potential acquisition opportunities and support M&A teams on structuring new deals from a tax perspective
- Monitor changes in global tax legislation and regulations
- Ensure a coordinated approach to tax planning strategy and compliance with internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- JD/LLM required
- 10-15 years in a tax role at a law firm
- Prior experience working with financial services or private equity is preferred
- Strong knowledge of international tax laws and regulations including transfer pricing and tax treaties
- Proficient in US inbound tax matters
Salary Range:
$350,000-$450,000
