About the Company:
Our client is an investment adviser with over $20 billion in AUM focused on investing in global credit and special situations. The firm has over 250 employees and has been consistently ranked a top 10 firm in the country. The Senior Fund Accountant will be responsible for the accounting, valuation, and internal controls for a portfolio of diverse assets and manage a team of 1-2 accountants.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate month end close process and review monthly NAV
- Review complex investor allocations and PE style waterfalls
- Prepare and analyze various reports for management, investors, and regulators
- Oversee external administrator
- Oversee the audit and financial statement process and liaise with auditors
- Evaluate and perform various internal control functions
- Various special projects as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5-8 years of fund accounting experience with a mix of public accounting and at a private asset management firm
- CPA or CFA a plus
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Previous experience managing a team
Salary Range:
$110,000-$160,000
