About the Company:
Our client is an alternative investment firm with over $8 billion in AUM and is hiring a Senior Accountant to join their management company team. This individual will be involved in a wide range of areas including financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, cash flows, disbursements, expense allocations, leases, assets, travel, and vendor management.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for quarterly close, financial and managerial reporting, forecasting and analysis for several US and UK companies
- Manage the expense allocation process for the firm’s fund expenses
- Assist with annual audits (US and UK GAAP)
- Prepare various regulatory filings
- Provide information to support periodic tax filings
- Support and mentor the accountant responsible for the disbursements function. This includes assisting in the review and management of accounts payable and treasury management
- Responsible for office leases, build-outs and fixed asset inventory
- Perform special projects within the accounting team, including policy and procedure documentation, data analysis, and working with the firm’s development team to enhance accounting systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA required
- 3-5 years of experience
- Strong analytical skills to assess and solve problems efficiently
Salary Range:
$150,000-$175,000
