About the Company: 

Our client is the fastest growing pre-IPO asset management firm with multi-billions in AUM. The Senior Accountant will help build-out the accounting operations, develop and improve monthly/quarterly reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day functions for the accounts receivable and payable, build out the reporting for new revenue streams and prepare related accounting memorandums, and managing vendor spend
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Build out the internal control environment and document standard operating procedures
• Assist in the budgeting process and financial planning
• Review general ledger reports and enhance reporting capabilities
• Lead and coordinate the audit process, liaise with external auditors, and manage the preparation of all related audit schedules and footnotes
• Oversee tax preparations and filings ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 2-5 years of experience in public or private accounting
• CPA required
• Experience in financial services and/or asset management
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong knowledge of GAAP

Salary Range:

$95,000 – $120,000
