About the Company:
Our client is the fastest growing pre-IPO asset management firm with multi-billions in AUM. The Senior Accountant will help build-out the accounting operations, develop and improve monthly/quarterly reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day functions for the accounts receivable and payable, build out the reporting for new revenue streams and prepare related accounting memorandums, and managing vendor spend
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Build out the internal control environment and document standard operating procedures
- Assist in the budgeting process and financial planning
- Review general ledger reports and enhance reporting capabilities
- Lead and coordinate the audit process, liaise with external auditors, and manage the preparation of all related audit schedules and footnotes
- Oversee tax preparations and filings ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 2-5 years of experience in public or private accounting
- CPA required
- Experience in financial services and/or asset management
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
Salary Range:
$95,000 – $120,000
