About the Company:

Our client is a leading developer and manufacturer of private label skin care products. The Controller will be a key player in building out controls and structure within the accounting and finance function of the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Build out and maintain a month end close process
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Oversee the AR, AP, and Invoice Clerks to create accurate financials
• Preparation of journal entries
• Monitor all inventory control functions
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs from the bottom up and investigating discrepancies
• Develop and automate reporting functionalities and make recommendations for process improvements

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• 7-12 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
• Experience with cost accounting/manufacturing a must
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
• Advanced Excel skills

Salary Range: 

$125,000-$160,000
