About the Company: 

Our client is a leading global real estate investment trust that owns, operates, and develops telecommunications infrastructure primarily focusing on wireless communication towers, data centers, and other related assets. The Tax Strategy Director will focus on the tax planning which involves developing and implementing ideas that are aligned with the firm’s long-term global tax strategy as well as researching and understanding legislative changes and assisting with local tax audits.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage and assist with the annual global cash tax forecasting
• Respond to tax audit inquiries from foreign tax authorities
• Manage and assist with quarterly REIT testing
• Develop and implement tax planning ideas in various jurisdictions
• Assist with M&A and internal restructurings by providing structuring considerations and relevant tax-related inputs
• Research tax issues and ad hoc requests

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Post-graduate degree in tax or law
• 8-12 years of experience in a corporate tax department or public accounting firm
• Prior experience at a REIT preferred

Salary Range: 

$180,000-$190,000
