Arcosa Traffic Structures is seeking a Production Operations Supervisor. In this role, you will support a positive safety culture by planning and directing production activities and staff, you will supervise departments and work to achieve plant goals while maintaining a high standard for safety, quality, and productivity.

Location: Sumterville, FL
What you'll do:
- Establish functional business plans and technical objectives to meet short term and long-term goals of the organization
- Coordinate and supervise daily activities of non-exempt and hourly employees
- Set priorities for the team and ensure task completion
- Interpret and execute policies and procedures in accordance with Arcosa policies
- Monitor processes to ensure quality and cost effectiveness
- Coaching/Leadership in production
- Coordinate galvanizing loads to support deliveries
- Ensure On Time delivery to customers
- Communicate with Master Scheduler to ensure product will be available
- Promote safety, quality and delivery
- Support Continuous improvement
- Administer all policies consistently and fairly
- Ensure all Quality hold points are followed and all travelers are reviewed and signed off prior to submission to QA department
- Other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
- 5+ years of supervisory or lead experience in heavy manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, write and speak proficiently in English
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have previous supervisory experience
- Ability to provide clear, explicit verbal directions and create a positive learning environment
- Ability to schedule shop flow and execute plant goals
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to analyze and solve issues pertaining to quality, safety, and production
- Good communication skills and the ability to work within a teamwork environment
- Regular and predictable attendance
Working Conditions:
- Hourly full-time position
- Safety sensitive role
- Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
- This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
- Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant
