Meyer Utility Structures is currently looking to hire a Sr. Director of Supply Chain. Reporting to the Business Unit President, the Sr. Director of Supply chain will support the business unit by coordinating, organizing and overseeing all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, production and distribution of MUS’s products.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead the supply chain team (raw materials purchasing, inventory management, shipping/receiving and production planning)
- Accountable for achieving service level and inventory turn targets
- Evaluate production performance and forecast data to ensure efficient supply chain operations to meet the demands of the business
- Design the supply chain to achieve optimal performance at the lowest cost of ownership
- Design/improve the necessary processes, systems, reports, KPI's
- Provide leadership to all on-site planning/inventory control functions
- Interface/collaborate with a wide range of business functions to achieve objectives
- Leverage technology to streamline goals and objectives
- Participate in ERP transition/implementations as well as further developing processes and reports to support the business needs
- Engage in operating income initiatives, reducing operations costs and increasing efficiency
- Manage long-term capacity planning process
- Develop, implement and sustain success metrics, incorporating best practices, and effectively communicating improvements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- CPIM and/or CSCP certifications preferred
- 15+ years' experience in a senior leader role with a 500MM + organization
- 5 – 10+ years’ experience with MRP or other supply chain planning systems
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers and internal/external customers
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Superior Microsoft Office Suite skills, to include PowerPoint
- Experience and skill with planning, forecasting & execution systems
- Excellent organizational, teamwork, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Heavy manufacturing experience is required

- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (50 to 75%)
