Arcosa Lightweight is searching for a Maintenance Manager for our Boulder, CO plant. In this role, you will support a positive safety culture and support and/or direct staff within a 24/7 aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. You will be responsible for proactively establishing and maintaining a maintenance program for the plant while also SAFELY implementing systems, techniques, tools, and practices required for a successful and sustainable preventive and predictive maintenance culture.

Arcosa Lightweight is a leading producer and distributor in the Western and Southwestern U.S. of lightweight and natural, aggregates, including expanded shale and clay, crushed stone, sand and gravel, asphalt rock, and other products.

What You’ll Do:
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations including but not limited to ensuring a safe working environment for self and others
• Participate in plant safety initiatives, committees, and activities
• Operate plant in compliance of all MSHA standards as well as environmental, air and water permits at all times
• Manage maintenance crew within a 24/7 production environment
• Oversee preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical)
• Evaluate and recommend equipment performance to improve efficiency, capability and yield
• Perform equipment failure analyses (including preventative and unscheduled maintenance)
• Recommend and implement procedures that creates a maintenance culture driven by life cycling strategies and is proactive/predictive in nature
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems for root cause analysis determination
• Prepare technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures
• Oversee parts warehouse, and ordering of all parts and equipment needed to maintain an optimal functioning facility
• Meet and supply vendors with information to maintain a good working inventory of parts in the warehouse
• Ensure the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities
• Ensure proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance
• Communicate findings and recommendations to Plant Management
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:
• Experience in a Maintenance Management role and/or experience as a Supervisor, Manager, or higher level, preferably in a rotary kiln manufacturing environment
• Hands on approach to maintenance
• Experience in MSHA facilities, preferred
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with, and influence the decision making of, management and assigned client groups
• Strong business acumen and data analysis skills
• Ability to remain flexible in the face of changing market forces and organizational priorities
• Ability to comfortably interact in a matrixed reporting structure with competing interests and priorities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including strong proofreading and / or presentation skills
• Ability to work on-call, on an as needed basis

Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary is between $79,500K to $120,000K
• Local site incentive plan of 10%
