St. Ambrose Church is seeking a dynamic and creative Catholic, who is skilled in coordinating parish faith formation programs for all ages: Religious Education and Sacramental Preparation for 220+ children, Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults and Teens (RCIA), Adult Faith Formation classes, and catechist formation.
Candidates need to be well organized, have good communication skills, ability to multi-task, detail oriented, and be able to collaborate with parish staff and supervise volunteers. Experience with parish administration and ministry is a great plus.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Faithful to the Catholic Church and teachings.
- Excellent ability to communicate both orally and in writing in English and Spanish required
- Strong organizational skills
- Outstanding people skills
Education and Experience:
- High School graduate required.
- Some college or business school training, a plus
- Candidates need a working knowledge of Catholic catechism and parish life.
- Strong and accurate skills in typing and proofreading.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and Publisher)
- Knowledge of Parish Soft software

circumstances, with composure and flexibility.
- Should be ever conscious of the need for confidentiality.
Work Environment
