Summary

The Inside Technical Sales / Estimator is responsible for preparing cost estimates and quotations to customers for custom engineered tooling by analyzing requests for quote requirements such as materials, tooling, customer specifications and labor. This position will work closely with multiple sources, such as customers, engineering, sales, production, and quality, to provide accurate customer quotes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

A candidate for the Inside Technical Sales / Estimator position will be a customer focused and independent functioning team member who is meticulous and technically oriented.

Requirements:

Analyze and interpret customer specifications by gathering vendor pricing, blueprints, and specifications.
Computes costs by analyzing materials, processes, labor, and time requirements.
Works closely with production and engineering in the development of accurate quotes.
Build quotes using current quoting system – Paperless Parts
Work accurately, quickly, and independently to generate quotes.
Formally document quoting processes.
Contributes to team effort.
