Job Title: Regional Director of Operations

Department: Executive

Supervisor: Jeff Cederstrom

FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary

·The goal of the Regional Director of Operations is to lead business units to meet or exceed their operational and financial goals.

·This position will facilitate/lead operational efficiency efforts, asset strategies and work process improvements increase customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

·Lead/facilitate ARCH business units to meet or exceed their goals.

·Lead/facilitate strategic operations optimization/synergy efforts.

·Lead, coach, and mentor BU leadership including monitoring goal attainment.

·Partner with business units on staffing strategies.

·Monitor operational scorecard performance trends.

·Align assets with centers of expertise on certain tooling work as needed.

·Coordinate with Product Development to efficiently introduce new products.

·Assist in reconcile conflicting demands of regional business units

·Partner with business unit leadership to improve process technology and automation.

·Engage in pricing strategies at BU’s and in partnership with the commercial team.

·Serve as liaison with commercial team to implement commercial strategies.

·Lead a culture at ARCH-Medical Solutions-Midwest Region.

·Support quality systems improvement efforts.

·Support EH&S improvement activities.

Qualification and Education requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must have minimum of 10 to 15 years hands-on manufacturing experience.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should understand Microsoft Office Software- especially knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
