Line Cook (Per Diem) 

$15.00 per hour

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking all menu items as required while complying with Arc Broward policies on quality, quantity, sanitation, and portion control.

What does a Line Cook do?

• Assist the chef with training a small group of individuals to become food service workers.
• Prepare and cook all menu items as required while complying with Arc Broward policies on quality, quantity, sanitation, and portion control.
• Help maintain the kitchen and food storage areas in an efficient, clean, and organized manner.
• Assist in catering functions in preparation, setup, and delivery. In the chef’s absence ability to prepare meals while supervising trainees and other related responsibilities.

What are the requirements?

• High School diploma or Equivalent (can be substituted for experience) 
• One to three years’ work experience in the food service industry
• Ability to work in a team
