As a Behavior Specialist, you will be  responsible for assisting the Behavioral Team Leader and BCBA to conduct Behavioral Assessments and develop Behavior Plans using approved Applied Behavior Analysis techniques and strategies; trains, monitors, and assists counselors in the implementation of the behavior plans.

What does a Behavioral Specialist Do?

 

• Plays an essential role in helping amazing children and young adults live their best lives
•  Assists the Behavioral Team Leader in developing behavioral plans to help the children achieve success and thrive
• Trains, monitors and assists counselors in the implementation of the behavior plans 
• Engages children and leads team in strategies to prevent and de-escalate crisis behaviors

Required Qualification/Skills:

• High School Diploma/GED
• RBT Certification  required
• 3 or more years of experience including implementation of ABA plans with individuals with developmental disabilities. 
• Valid FL drivers license

Salary:

• $45,000 annually
