Licensed Practical Nurse

As an Licensed Practical Nurse you will be responsible for providing quality professional health services; to include: Medication administration, routine medical assessments, daily triage of illnesses and injuries, record documentation and review, health screening and health education for adults with developmental disabilities in our residential programs located throughout Broward County.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Health Services Administrator.
• Assess the health care needs of each individual.
• Work in an interdisciplinary team environment.
• Implement policies and procedures regarding medical, dental, dietary, pharmaceutical services and nursing practices in accordance with agency and regulatory standards and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Must have a current LPN license to practice Nursing in the state of Florida with minimum of one year experience.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Prefer prior experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities

Other Desired Qualifications

• Must have a valid Florida Driver License which does not have any excessive moving violations.
• Must have strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent team work.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems and make decisions.
• Ability to work effectively independently, as well as in a team environment.
• Must possess auditory, visual and verbal capabilities in order to adequately communicate in person.
• Must be able to receive and follow instructions and feedback.

M-F 6am-2pm
