Due to continued growth, we are looking to add an Inspection & Service Coordinator to our support our team in Pleasantville, NJ.  As an Inspection & Service Coordinator, you will support the Fire Extinguisher Manager by maintaining office systems and processes.

As an Inspection and Service Coordinator, you will:

  • Act as a back-up for phone coverage; ensuring accurate information is given and calls are transferred to the appropriate individuals.
  • Greets visitors or callers and handles their inquiries or directs them to the appropriate person according to their needs.
  • Assist in obtaining information needed for each job such as, Purchase Orders, tax-exempt forms, insurance certificates, and certified payroll information.
  • Assists in the scheduling of inspectors and ensures compliance with state and local codes.
  • Orders materials for the Fire Extinguisher Shop.
  • Updates and maintains Fire Extinguisher Inspection records.
  • Quote deficiencies and installations as needed.
  • General office duties such as faxing, copying, filing, scanning documents.
  • Upload documents to internal resources.
  • Process payments of walk-in fire extinguisher customers.
  • Other duties as needed. 

In this role, you will supervise:

  • Fire Extinguisher Inspectors
  • Fire Extinguisher Shop Technicians

An ideal candidate, will have the following qualifications:

  • Strong oral, written and telephone skills.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect data and establish facts and draw conclusions.
  • Associate degree in a related field preferred
  • One year experience in an administrative setting, industry experience preferred.
