Sales Representative

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a prospect marketing plan identifying high-value opportunities.
  • Work your plan by initiating outside sales calls.
  • Gather all pertinent information necessary to make a complete proposal for service, alarm, inspections, and tenant customers; containing accurate material/labor cost estimate.
  • Generate proposals to offer specifically defined cost estimates in clear and concise language.
  • Continual follow-up on proposals to close or until outcome is determined.
  • Maintain organized proposal information for proper and efficient transfer of all necessary documentation to the engineering department.
  • Utilize CRM to track, follow-up, and monitor all customer information and proposal activity.
  • Pro-active communication and customer interaction consistent with USA Fire’s stated Purpose/Mission/Values.
  • After closing hand off all necessary order instructions required to teammates.
  • Attend bi-weekly job meetings.
  • Conduct Project Manager functions as required and designated
  • Complete additional projects as developed and assigned by your supervisor or management.

Job Qualifications

  • Personal organization is necessary to meet deadline-driven tasks in a timely manner.
  • General computer knowledge and skills.
  • Working knowledge of fire sprinkler and fire alarm codes for system compliance.
  • Ability to verbally communicate clearly on job sites and in construction meetings.
  • Ability to safely navigate construction sites unescorted.
  • Willing to pass a post-offer drug test, background, and reference check
  • Ability to safely climb ladders and wear standard personal protective equipment as required by the USA Fire Safety Manual and OSHA on construction sites.
